National Night Out - August 6, 2024 - Harlem Library Plaza from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. A Free Community Event presented by the Harlem Police Department. An evening of fun, food and music.

Upcoming Events:

Thursday, July 4, 2024 - City Offices will be closed in Observance of the Independence Day Holiday.  Our offices will re-open on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. Recycle service will run on schedule, but Garbage service will be on a one day delay.

Saturday, July 13, 2024 - Movie Matinee and Movie in the Plaza; the classic feature "Grease" will be played at 5:30 in the Columbia Theater and at dusk (8-ish) in the Library Plaza.

Property Tax Hearings:  Monday, July 15 at 6:00 p.m.; Thursday, July 18 at 7:00 p.m.; and Monday, July 22 at 7:00 p.m.  All hearings will be conducted at the Public Safety Building located at 110 W. Milledgeville Road.

Tuesday, August 6, 2024 - National Night Out; a free Community Event sponsored by the Harlem Police Department.  There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks, games for the kids, a bounce house, and dunk tank.  Kona Ice will be on hand as well.  There will be free book bags given away.  Music will be provided by the Harlem Sons.  Members of the Police, Fire, and Sheriff's Department will be on hand to meet and greet everyone.  As well as members from ID a Kid.  Come enjoy some time in Downtown Harlem to kick off the first week of school!
