For those businesses currently holding an alcoholic beverage permit from the City of Harlem, visiting the Georgia Department of Revenue alcohol permit web page is advised. The State of Georgia has implemented an alcohol license permit portal that should be utilized.

POTENTIAL SITES FOR ALCOHOL SALES

The City of Harlem has had many inquiries recently about business locations that would include the sale of alcohol. There are state and Harlem regulations relating to locations near certain land uses – for example, churches, public housing, and schools.

The City of Harlem has researched possible parcels for alcohol sales. This analysis is provided for illustrative purposes only and is not a legal opinion. Final determination of location compliance is based upon a registered Surveyor analysis.

The illustrative research is available below. This map shows the location of existing alcohol licenses, sites that are possible locations, sites that appear not to be possible locations, and a downtown event location.
