City Parks

City Park

Harlem has several parks for residents to enjoy.  From passive parks to baseball fields, our facilities have something for everyone to enjoy.

Harlem City Park

The Harlem City Park is located at 385 W Church Street and features one T-Ball field, one 200-foot field for youth baseball, two 300-foot fields, a tennis court, and a playground with picnic areas.  The park also has a hard-surface basketball court and a restroom facility as well as a Pavilion with picnic tables and a grill. There is a small walking track around the playground area with some additional paved walking areas thru out the park.  A wi-fi hotspot is provided in the park by the Columbia County Community Broadband Utility.

The park regularly plays host to a variety of youth baseball and softball practices and some tournaments, and families often use the playground equipment and walking track while there.

To inquire about  the park for a special event, reservation of one of ballfields, or the Pavilion please call (706) 556-3448.  As of March 1, 2024, you must reserve the fields, Pavilion or tennis court for use.  A reservation form and Policies and Procedures is provided below. Currently all rentals shall be made in person and you will need to come to City Hall. You must have your receipt and permit with you in order to use the fields.  If you do not have a receipt and permit and a team that has reserved the field does, you will be required to vacate the field so those who have properly reserved it may use it. Your cooperation in this is a show of great sportsmanship between teams as well as an example for the youth and parents.
