The Planning & Zoning Department is responsible for ensuring that development of current and future land uses within the City are carried out in an orderly, planned, and efficient manner. The department plans for current and future land uses, enforces current land use regulations and policies, and conducts effective review of proposed developments to ensure that growth is managed. Our goal is to protect and enhance the quality of life of all citizens of the City of Harlem. The department can be reached at 706-556-0043.
