Bobby Culpepper is married to the former
Linda Phillips whose grandfather, Glenn Phillips Sr., was the youngest
person to serve as Mayor of Harlem. He has two sons, Stacy and Brian,
and two grandchildren, Gracie and Baden.
Mayor Culpepper is the Ford dealer of Culpepper
Ford in Thomson, GA. This dealership was originally located in downtown
Harlem and has been a family business for 61 years. He is a member of
Harlem United Methodist Church where he has served in many capacities.
He is a member of the Columbia County Development Authority and the
Board of Directors of First Bank of Georgia.

I have been happily married for 23 years
to Todd Root. We have three daughters: Venessa , Tiffany, and Chelsea.
I am also the proud grandmother of Chloe Mae.
I have proudly been serving on City
council for three terms, and was elected for a fourth term in November
2008. I also serve our Community in many other ways: Board
of Directors of the Columbia County Community Connection, Board of Directors
of the Harlem Foundation, Committee for Oliver Hardy Festival, President
of the Harlem Woman's Club and a member of the Pioneer Garden Club.
Mrs. Root serves as chairman of Community
Services.

“To work to keep Harlem’s history and integrity, while promoting sensible

Employed as a Supervisor for DSM Resins Inc. since 1979 and also a part-time
firefighter/EMT.

of the Administrative Committee.
