Harlem Woman’s Club
“Builders of a Better Community” under the leadership of the Georgia Federation of Woman’s Clubs.
The Harlem Woman’s Club is a woman’s civic organization that has been serving the Harlem community since 1925. Throughout the club’s history, it has fostered mutual counsel and helpfulness throughout Harlem. Meetings are held September through May on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 4:00 pm at the Harlem Branch Library.

Pioneer Garden Club
The Pioneer Garden Club was organized in 1958 and is part of the state and national garden clubs. Meeting dates are the third Tuesday of each month, September through May, in the Harlem Civic Center meeting room unless otherwise announced. Harlem Arts Council
Harlem Arts Council was formed in the fall of 2014. We are a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) educational organization. Our purpose is to offer the citizens of Harlem and the surrounding area a quality experience with the performing, visual and applied arts. We are also committed to offering programs related to our culture and history. Harlem Arts Council schedules a wide variety of monthly art classes. We have classes for adults, children, beginners and those with more advanced skills. We also have classes for the residents at nearby Planer Mill Village. Our annual Bloomin Arts Festival is held each year in late April. It is an event not to be missed! Harlem Arts Council is proud to be located in the new Harlem Civic Center at 375 N. Awana Clubs International
Awana Clubs International, is a nondenominational, Christian youth organization. Awana Clubs International sponsors clubs in local churches around the world. The purpose of the clubs is to encourage young people in social interaction, physical activities, and Bible study and memorization. Using a unique concept of four-team competition, variety in club programming, and a progressive system of achievements contribute to accomplishment of these goals for each clubber. The Awana program also offers uniform awards and trophies as clubbers reach successive plateaus of achievement.
